Celebrating Novruz

Since ancient times Novruz or New Year has been celebrated by local people on March 21. On March 19, 2012 the Eurexport Holding’s Tashkent office representatives visited the children of orphanage N 34 to celebrate together both Novruz and birthdays of those children who were born in spring.

Instead of an official event with many speeches, a real children’s party with lots of fruits, sweets, cookies, famous Uzbek pilav and certainly two birthday cakes and games with maskaraboz (in the Uzbek language - artists) of the local theater group was arranged. Also, there were birthday gifts, dances and games.
