Participation in the first forum of inter-regional cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia

On October 18, 2018 in Tashkent the delegation of the EH took part in the first forum of inter-regional cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in Tashkent. The goal of the forum was to expand and develop mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.

The forum was attended by more than 200 representatives of the Russian Government, its ministries and departments and regions, regional governors, as well as representatives of the business community, heads of leading companies of Russia.

To establish cooperation between the Uzbek producers and their foreign counterparts, there were the "negotiation zones" to hold direct negotiations at the forum. For example, the Uzbek Neftegazinvest and the Russian company FORUS have agreed on the founding documents for the establishment of a joint venture to expand the capacity of Gazli's Underground gas storage facilities with the development of the field.
