Participating in business diplomacy from the Atlantic to the Pacific
On October25-26, 2018 the EH delegation attended XI Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona, Italy. The main theme of the Eurasian Economic Forum in 2018 was the development and strengthening of economic confidence and business diplomacy from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
Since the beginning the Forum has been designed to be a place of exchanging opinions among business executives and political leaders to see the perspectives of wider Europe/Eurasia/Asia relations. It is believed that cooperation is a way towards peace and prosperity and this is why the forum gathers business people and politicians together so to make sure that the future of the Eurasia will be peaceful and prosper.
This year the Forum was attended by a quite large number of participants and among its participants were Romano Prodi, President of the Foundation for Worldwide Cooperation; Prime Minister of Italy, 1996–1998, 2006–2008; Robert Dudley, Group Chief Executive, BP; Igor Sechin, Chairman of the Management Board, PJSC Rosneft; and others.
The forum was organized by the “Conoscere Eurasia” Association, the St.
Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Roscongress Foundation.
