Contributing to tourism development

Tourism is an engine for economic growth: tourism has positive effect on other sectors contributing to their development and job creation.

According to the World Travel & Tourism Council’s (WTTC) annual research into the economic impact and social importance of the sector, the global Travel & Tourism sector grew at 3.9 percent to contribute a record $8.8 trillion and 319 million jobs to the world economy in 2018 (https://news.gtp.gr/2019/02/28/travel-tourism-contributed-8-8-trillion-global-economy-2018/).

In Uzbekistan it is paid great attention to tourism industry development. Special attention is given to the development of tourism infrastructure, including the construction of hotels and hostels.

Our subsidiary in Uzbekistan makes its contribution to tourism development through executing a project on tourist segment construction and its development. The first stage of this project will be completed in 2020.
