Changes to the entrance area

It is planned to make some changes to the entrance area so to make it easier for customers and guests to enter and exit the building. We are also thinking about the best possible way to implement this project in such a way that the end result is a renovated and modern facade of the building that preserves its current characteristics.

Preparatory reading and searching informed us that historic and modern architecture seen as vastly different, but still equally important, because our built environment is often defined by distinctly separate old and new buildings. We have learned that historic architecture has its own charm and that, at its best, it inspires modern architecture.

There many examples to illustrate it. Let’s take as examples the St. Antony’s College (Oxford, England) or the Stealth Building (New York City). Pictures taken from ttps://www.architecturaldigest.com/gallery/beautiful-examples-historic-modern-architecture-come-together/

So the readings inspired us try to develop something that will make us different and interesting for people. Then we had conducted a brainstorming session, which resulted in our sketch, and based on it, we gave the architects a task to make us some suggestions. Now this work is in full swing. We will keep you updated on how everything will be implemented.
