Charity within the framework of the senior citizen supporting initiative

Within the framework of the senior citizen supporting initiative which is one of the priorities of our Corporate Responsibility Strategy each year we visit the Republican boarding house for War and Labor veterans in Tashkent to show our respect, gratitude and appreciation of the veterans' input into the society. This year during the holy month of Ramadan on April 10, 2023 the office in Tashkent arranged a pilaf and sweets with fruits for the veterans of the Republican boarding house for War and Labor veterans in Tashkent.

It is always important for a person or for a company to participate in charity. Charities bring together people who care about a cause so that they can make a difference. This gives an awareness of community, an understanding of the importance of empathy, kind attitude towards each other, and compassion. In our case, based on the importance of showing respect and gratitude to the elderly a charity we have been working on is providing direct help to the veterans so to show our respect, gratitude and appreciation of their input into the society.

Since cooperation with the Republican Boarding House for War and Labor Veterans in Tashkent has been established long ago and has become a kind of a norm for our office in Tashkent, based on that long lasting experience, this year the office decided first to ask what veterans would like us to prepare for them. We were asked to cook pilaf (a national dish) as usual, but also add fruits and some plant berries, such as banana, and juice for each of them. Therefore, as soon as we found out their wishes, we gladly did it and added sweets in addition to the requested ones. This is the least we can do for our veterans to show them how much we value and respect them!
