Striving for promoting sustainability

As a socially responsible company, we always strive for promoting sustainability as sustainability promotes a better economy where there is little waste and pollution, fewer emissions, more jobs, and a better distribution of wealth. We also do our best to be involved in the local environment and raise our awareness of the most important issues of the countries in which the Holding operates. So in the past we had meetings with the members of the Uzbek parliament from the Ecological party and with the head of the Tashkent office of the party where the issues of nature protection, the activities of the party and cooperation with businesses were discussed. And we continue to work on this.

On August 15, 2023, a meeting dedicated to the published draft strategy "Uzbekistan-2030" was held at the holding's office in Tashkent. This document is aimed at "creating a new Uzbekistan" and covers 5 directions and 100 goals.

The directions of "Uzbekistan-2030" strategy are the following:

• the creation of education, health and social protection systems that meet the requirements of the population and international standards (44 goals);

• the increase of the well-being of the population through sustainable economic growth

(17 goals);

• the creation environmental conditions that are comfortable for the population, including saving water resources (12 goals);

• the creation of a fair and modern state serving the people, ensuring the rule of law (16 goals);

• the continuation of work on turning the country into a safe and peaceful state, conducting an open, pragmatic and active foreign policy, reforms to strengthen the country's security and defense capability (11 goals).
