Involving in social impact projects

The EH subsidiary in Uzbekistan - a plant which is in metal construction business for more than 45 years - is known within the country and abroad for the quality and variety of its products.

The plant is also known for its involvement in social impact projects. To illustrate, the company took part in a project aimed at improving water supply to the population living in remote rural areas. The project was funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Our plant manufactured eleven large-sized water towers with tanks of the volume 75m3 to 300m3 and pillars which height of up to 27 m. The towers were made according to the German project and were installed in the Alat district of the Bukhara region and in the Syrdarya region. The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan expressed its gratitude to the plant for its work.

Also, the plant manufactures products for important but complex sectors of the economy. To illustrate, let’s take such product as a cell type shaft. This shaft is used for the flotation of zinc production in an aggressive environment and it is made of high-alloy steel (stainless steel). The plant produces such shafts for the zinc plant JSC «Almalyk MMC» (Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex).
