Why management consultancy is important


According to Harvard Business Review, each year management consultants in the United States receive more than $2 billion for their services (see https://hbr.org/1982/09/consulting-is-more-than-giving-advice). This is a common trend in the world because consulting is worth it. It is known that consulting is more that giving advice (quote from Arthur N.Turner).

Consulting services are needed for the companies in a wide range of industries during different periods of their business activities. Some need consultancy and assistance in the bidding process in tenders, some look for assistance of taking part in negotiations on their behalf, some require assistance in the process of project execution, some are in the process of project completion and summing up, etc.

Management consulting includes a broad range of activities. These practices include the activities aimed at achieving certain consulting purposes: providing information to a client; solving a client’s problems; making a diagnosis, which may necessitate redefinition of the problem; making recommendations based on the diagnosis; assisting with implementation of recommended solutions; building a consensus and commitment around corrective action; facilitating client learning—that is, teaching clients how to resolve similar problems in the future; permanently improving organizational effectiveness (see https://hbr.org/1982/09/consulting-is-more-than-giving-advice).

If this happens in the Middle East, then our consulting company from the UAE is involved in providing consultancy, if this is in North America our company from the United States is there to provide consultancy, and if it is in Europe we have the opportunity to work together with our partner – “Solutions for International Growth” (FSEE), based in London, United Kingdom. As for the sector or direction of services, the same approach based on geography and sector is also applied, for example, if there is a request to provide management consultancy in the Middle East, our company from the UAE is to be involved and do that job.
