Doing good

Taking into account the current and projected environmental situation, we are raising tree planting to the rank of state policy," President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at a meeting on housing provision and expansion of green zones, which took place on November 2.

Within the framework of the project, it is planned to plant 200 million trees and shrubs per year, and to increase the area of green zones in cities from the current 8 to 30 percent. The Head of State stressed that every organization and every citizen should have a role in this noble work.

Within the framework of this national initiative our subsidiary in Uzbekistan together with the Tashkent branch of the Ecological Party arranged the event "Day of Environmental Knowledge» at the Republican Specialized Music Academic Lyceum of the National Guard on April 15.

To contribute to the efforts of creating an atmosphere that encourage the learning and development of young people, so that they can learn to appreciate the nature we have planted the trees. We now look forward to the process of plants' growing making education of these young people more enjoyable and nice.

We should say that there have been created excellent opportunities for the young people – they have proudly showed us their classrooms, a sports hall, and have arranged a concert.

It is always important to do good deeds, but during holy month of fasting it is simply necessary. So, we have provided the assistance to the most vulnerable residents of the district (mahalla), where the lyceum is located so young people can see, take part and learn kindness and empathy.
